what i am trying to accomplish here is to be able to get loud for competition and also be able to simply lengthen the port to tune lower and not blow the amp.
how much of an impedance rise would i get?
8cf 180sq" port or 10cf 180sq" port tuned around 47-53hz? i have a US Amps 4000x designed for 4ohm mono use only, debating on which DD9515 to use, 2/2 or 1.4/1.4 wired in series.
as far as street beating the dual 2's(series)would work fine, but for comps, will the dual 1.4's wired series be to low of impedance?
also if i tune the enclosure to 30-35hz for street beating would i have a huge impedance rise?

I don't now if this will help out or not but I'm running 2 9515s dual 1 ohm voice coil. After a year of testing the loudest frequency is 58 hz. At that freq. the impedance is about 3.9 per coil measured from the lowest amp the others are slightly higher. the impedance rises on either side of the tuned frequency.
