I build my system for SQ but I finally got it tested for SPL just for fun. I have no interest in competing, my system is just for my own personal pleasure. I took it to a local shop called Mr Tunes. They metered it with an Audiocontrol SPL meter about an inch off the middle of the front dash. I used an older Bass Mechanix CD with the old Team Gates PPI Bronco that came with a 2nd CD with test tones for material. At the end of track 7 (2nd CD) at around 45-41hz I hit 139.1dB. I have two JL 10w3-D4's in a ported box btw (see sig for other equipment). It's louder than I really need haha since I mostly listen to Metal I probably don't come close to 139.1 driving around all day. Even though it has taken a toll on my hearing I don't hear the upper freqs as well as I used to and I constantly have to force my ears to pop to get things to "sound" right... I need to lay off the volume knob.
