I do not have the sub yet, but I can get it really cheap.........I think it is a 2818....I know it is a 8ohm sub....it is the series before the xlc was introduced......think it is only 250 rms......I just want a idea on the enclosure before I buy it..........Did these subs sound good in ported boxes? -------------------- 1991 Explorer alpine HU Lightning mids and highs Hifonics BX1605d sub amp No subs right now

i cant tell you anything about PRE XLC but i have had xlc, and now HX2 18s and yes they do sound good in a big, ported box....im guessing you need @ least 3-4 cubic feet minimum for pre xlc 18s. check out my sounddomain page. youll see [ 10-05-2002, 05:59 PM: Message edited by: meadestyle916 ] -------------------- Rockford Fosgate FiCarAudio Team XS Power Batteries and Intellichargers!! www.stevemeadedesigns.com www.smdmedia.net My Myspace page, add me!
