what is the best ported enclosure for a punch 18" sub(the series before the xlc)?

I want it low and loud......

ON the side of the speaker is a stamped model number...if you can get us this we will give you the recommended enclosures...either here or feel free to call also..

I do not have the sub yet, but I can get it really cheap.........I think it is a 2818....I know it is a 8ohm sub....it is the series before the xlc was introduced......think it is only 250 rms......I just want a idea on the enclosure before I buy it..........Did these subs sound good in ported boxes?

i cant tell you anything about PRE XLC but i have had xlc, and now HX2 18s and yes they do sound good in a big, ported box....im guessing you need @ least 3-4 cubic feet minimum for pre xlc 18s. check out my sounddomain page. youll see
