I'm going to my first competition on fri, and have a few questions. First, with two fifteens in a trunk, no wall, am I in superstreet 1-2? Next, what are some tips to get my highest number...I don't know my highest frequency yet, but my box is tuned to 36hz...any suggestions on what range I should be looking at to play? Any help would be appreciated.

not ss1-2....SS1-2 NW (no wall)

second....if you don't know your note...try and guess close and then find a sweep on the dbdrag disc that covers that area...

not in the front doors.... [Frown]

In "SS1-2 NW" you can do anything you want behind the front door jams, as long as it stays BELOW the window line.....It does mean that you can remove all the seats in the car....so if you have a sealed trunk you can take out the back seats...and you could point your speakers forward [Smile] this also means that you could take out the back seat and stick your bax back there, instead of in the trunk...AS LONG AS IT STAYS BELOW THE WINDOWS!

Hi:
I think you should measure your interior car. Find the longest distance.Ex. from the firewall, to the tail lamps. And then get this
F= 345m/seg
_________

2 ( Distance).
And this is your resonant frecuency.
Then you have to tone your box below this frecuency. Then you have to play this tone in your car.
If you use a sweep tone your seakers will be damage.
If is not right please let me now I am learning too . Thanks

We are always learning.Thanks to all of you.
