ok i have a 12 x 12 by 4 inch deep port and i was trying to figure out how much port area it is any ideas?

one big old 6.5 cf plus port box
capable of 147.5(with one voice coil blown

pg bass cube 5 gallons of cascade audio v block
hoping for 150s in 2002

Your port could do with being longer than 4" deep, most prefer to be longer than the sub is deep Give it a try you might find some more DBs

port area = width X hight
