Iam torn into getting one of these subs. Eather Rockford Fosgate Power DVC 12" or Image Dynamics DVC 15". (pair) Iam not sure witch ones to get I want HIGH slp and good clairty. I have a RF 800a2 punch.
its gona get tossed in a 1991 chevy caviler.

Because of the amp power available, I would go IDQ15 sealed. This will allow great SQ with good SPL. If SPL is more important, consider other options

If your gonna go ported, I'm not sure.

If you only had 200-300 watts, I would consider either.

The IDQ 15 would yield better results in both departments, but do put it in a ported box if you have the space to spare about 5.3 cubes for 2 15's they will handle that amp with ease. We have 2 IDQ 15's in a Dragster hitting 162.0 Db.
