Hey there,
Just wondering what I am gonna have to do to strap on a BD1000 to each voice coil of my HX2 15's. Does this entitle getting the gains matched up or just basically hooking them up and hoping for good results. Just wondering before I blow anything up, Thanks, Rick

everything should be matched up so they play the same or something may cook

for best results, use a dual input osciliscope to match the outputs of the amps perfectly. Any decent stereo shop should have one. I am sure you can get them to level set it for like $20. it takes a whole 10 minutes.

get a bd sync cable and run em at 1 ohm. huge power...

or use a scope to set the gains equally and have a 2 ohm load on each and not as much power.

BD sync the two amps together instead of running an amp per coil. Run the straped pair at 4 ohm is the same result as running an amp per coil at 2 ohm. In my opinion this is a safer way to run the 2 amps on one sub. I advise not running the strapped pair at 1 ohm! You will get a tad over 2000 rms per sub with a pair synced together, which is plenty for street beating. Even if you sync the amps make sure you match output voltage for each amp. Hey man why ya gotta steal part of my forum name? I had it before ya! J/K
