what you need to do is build your box ,put it in the van, and take an impedance test. I'm assuming you will have it pre-tuned to your transfer function, so find out what impedance it is at that frequency. then choose your amp from your findings. impedance is key. other than that , allthe amps you stated are great!

I think Larry Benton's already built the answer. 4 Stroker eighteens and 8 US Amps 400X = 169 dB.

Hey man how do you take an impedance test do you hook up the voltmeter on the impedance symbol and hook it up to the subs to see the fluxuation. I have been planning many things over the last few years i planned originally 8 stroker 15" subs on a flat wall with a 600 square inch port. Then 6 stroker 15" subs then i went to 4 stroker 15 and 8 amps now i said well thinking in regards to woofer class it is 3 to 4 woofers so i said i might as well do 4-18" cv strokers this time around and i rember that larry benton used it but i thought maybe i could beat him being i am in a chevy astro van which is more square and everything plus i was gonna use 8 zapco amps which amp is yet to disclose my info on amps becasue i have so many different amps i want to use but i was thinking us amps last week but not anymore i thought laryu was using mmats it seems like everyone went us amps this year so i may have to go with a new amp i know of coming out a ces in las vegas. but tthat yet to be disclosed.
