i was down at shocks dungin and had my eyes on a sig 15 , i even picked it up . let me say this it would take 2 good size guys to install it, im 6'1" 250 lbs and its a monster sub if losing isnt an option then this subs is for you . hope this helps ya - jeff

to be perfectly honest with you I was down there saw it, picked it up, blah blah blah....I was very impressed, but I still think you would do better with 2 super quads and a 12 ft^3 box.

havent guys had better luck with DD over the shocker when runnin that much power?umm as in EA1...and didnt he stop shredding them every round..and didnt he gain some db to??

Ea1 will tell you that his SHocker and DD are basically as loud as each other, some days his amps like the DD better and some days they like the Atomic Thunder better. As for the shredding if I understand sorrectly that was the Quad coil with about 8000 watts per sub. As far as I know he hasn't blown any of the DDs or AT DVCs'.

there are plenty of people who say the shocker x-tremes suck
there are plenty of people who say the super x-tremes suck
there are now those saying that the signature series woofers suck
How could all of these people be wrong? Obviously, shockers suck, so why would anybody ever want to buy them?
Its kind of like this...some people like ford, some like dodge etc etc...shocker is just another option...
our lines are just like engines...just instead of 4, 6, 8 and 10 cylinders, we make minis, x-tremes, supers, and sigs...

i was lookin at it from mor eof a price verse quality point...fot the price of the shocker you could have a sper dd ..but would you ever need it.??im not knockin shocker..at all ,in fact the shocker 2 woofer was prolly my faverate woofer ive ever used..im just sayin for teh price of a signater shocker...it just seems silly..yo spend 4000 on a sub..when you can get a supercharged woofer runnin on n.o.s. for about 1/4 the cost....so again...notknockin shocker..just the sillyness of spendin cash like that...

yeah, but wouldn't you like to have the loudest vehicle in the world with only 2 or 3 subs. That's what is going to happen at Finals this year, watch!

Well no one knows what the SIG does because no one has ever baught one that I know of. I blew a sub and wanted to use the sig. It was at the show for SHOW but I got a NO. So I dont Know thats a lot of ooos LOL I dont think the sig is anylouder than the Super extreme and if it is I;d say only maybe .5 a db but I will say it would survive a deathmatch very well!! It is one like no sub I have ever seen but then again is it worth buying a 3 thousand dollar sub just to take home a 1000dollar check from world finals? and thats if you run 1 sub LOL If you run 8 subs you have to sell that deathmatch bike to pay off the subs that one it LOL but theres always next year As far as QUAD coils go.. all I can say is THERMAL COMPRESSION MAKES IT USELESS. The sub heats up 2 times as fast as with 2 amps on it and IMPEDANCE RISES 2 Times as much Which Lowers Power 2 Times as Much Which You gain NOTHING But HOT COILS and Way too many amps in your car. BUT HOW EVER.. The SIG QUAD might be the one to go for it has a much more massive cooling MOTOR and Larger magnet for Heat Disperation in which you might gain quite a bit before Thermal Compression comes into play.

So what you are saying is that not only do the shocker dual coil subs suck, but also the quad coil versions are a joke? That is what I thought, but I wanted a confirmation on that
So basically, don't buy a shocker unless you want to lose! BTW, mousetrap, what class are you in? What is the odds of you getting first rounded IF you make it to finals? Just wondering???

mike chris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please call us!!!! mike i call you everyday since ohio show aNd no answer we need some subs for nopi the car is rebuilt amps are all new and sub??? well there is none !!! if you dont want us to have them just say so we can find more but we love the subs found our problems and now we need some speakers . mits hard to win with out them. i know there are thing going on there but please let us know somethinig weather its go to hell or they are on the way. thanks
