I agree with you because you are very smart. You must have a world record or something.
Ported, sealed, whatever floats your boat. I have NEVER heard a loud sealed enclosure for the Strokers. You may have one, that's cool...it may be loud, that's cool. BUT, by going by what I have tested, by what I have seen, and by what I know...ported is better. And I think most of the folks here will agree with me on that.
Regarding the record comment, actually, I have won several NSPL titles over the past 6 years.

So, what size sealed box are your's in? Maybe the one's I heard were'nt correct. I have 2 15D2's in my daily driver. If it sounds good, I just might throw them in just out of curiosity. Also, what numbers have ya put up and what does it sounds like?

At a local comp this past weekend a guy had 2 stroker 15s in his truck. I heard this from someone so i went over to watch him to see what he hits. It did a 137 or something. He looked at the subs to see what was wrong and they had blown the screws out of the box. I looked at it and they were in a sealed box with what looked like about 2 cu ft per side. What a waste!!!

i've build a 3 ft^3 box for my stroker 12s, i haven't got the port yet. So i tried the stroker in the closed box. Damn it sounded like ****, i could't believe it was so bad. So i simulated a 3 ft^3 box with a stroker 12s in WinISD and got a f-3 @ 200 Hz...
The EBP of a stroker is more than 200 so it should play best in a ported enclousure, and it does... PORT IT!!!
