They hurt SPL. Quite a few people off here have done their testings and all of them have lost SPL when using caps. If you want, I'll tell you why.

I agree. I have not seen caps do a bit of good for anything other then SQ and the transents (spelling) in the music. But for burping the caps discharge so fast they do no good for a burp and hurt cause they have to draw off the batteries to charge the caps. And where you think the amps get their power from? A milisecond of power from the caps? Cause once the power from the caps is gone the current has to go from the batteries through caps..etc etc..
There is more to it but that is simple outlook on it..

Guys, thanks for the reply. I did read something on caps being no good for spl. It was very detailed and explained why. I guess there maybe alot of people who are not aware of this fact. Can we say high output alternator and deep cycle batterys..............

Have they ever tried it with out the caps? Also I think it matter how many caps vs the watts also in that respect. But for example...The Bronco from Team Gates..It had a ton of caps. BUT did you know that since 97 they were not used? The team disconected then and did testing. I forget but SPL went up with no caps or stayed same. They literally took them out of the bronco BUT cause that changed the air space in there they had to put them back in..BUT they have not been used since 97..
