Not everybody competes and knows what amps are good. Im starting to think that any thing commercial ****s. Im sick of wasting money on amps that dont put out what they say. I've tried orion and a hifonics zues. I took the orion apart to measure it + and - power supply voltage. Lets just say orion likes to lie. the zues does not put out 1000 watts like it says. Rockford fosgates are small for what they do put out but are'nt clean. The old ppi where good I guess. heard them but never had one. The only amps I,ll give a thumbs up to are the Harmon Kardons. To bad they stoped makeing them.

I'd like to know what people with more experience think. What amps are used if you want channels that are a true 1000W of clean power.
How would you rate them?

Well I have personally seen the Orion do more then what they are rated at as well as the PPI and quite a few others. Application and install is the key.

I would have to say one of the HC amplifiers from MMATS. They are rated at 1200 watts, but with rock solid voltage, we have obtained as much as 2400 watts from just a single chassis. Just some input for you.

Can you smellellellellell what the Griz is cookin'???

Smell this. A competition where vehicles have a loud system and all of them are required to retain a stock interior from the door jam up. Imagine that... realistic vehicles... realistic scores.

Ihave tested the earthquake 200dhc mark2, and i must say really impressed. At 4 ohms it does it's rated power of 1200 watts, but at 2ohms it's a whole new monster. Tested over and over because I thought I was doing it wrong. 3100@2.8ohms solid. So in my finding the earthquake 200dhc mark2 is the only amp out there putting out that kind of power stock. But I am interested if some knows of any others.

Nexus Lion........ You can't beat the power for the price and NOBODY stands behind their amps beter then Nexus. The Lion is rated at 700rms at 4 ohms but does about 900 and it is rated at 1078 at 2ohms but does about 1200.............This is a fact - no hype - no bull!!!

Well I am not trying to start any fight here, just my opinion- The Rockford amps are rock solid and are cleaner than most 1000 watt+ amps. Also if I wanted the best bang for my buck I would say USAmps and Linear Power are the two of the best. Just my opinion, but I am always open to suggestions!

Dont be so open minded that your brain falls out!
