I just got My drivers installed into my wall. Here's where the problem lies, My upper sub. The mounting basket passes the "string test" BUT,the suround is touching it, just the SLIGHTEST bit. It sticks out about a 16th of an inch past. Now if I push on the cone very lightly it will pass.....Now what?

Last year at the finals they DQ a car that has the same . I would fix it befoe I went to a 2x/3x point event. If it is that close some one will point it out trust me .

Cut into the box and make so u can drop the wofer down a little that is what my buddy did in his camaro and it is leagal now.. It is like maki'n the 1st hole that u did first bigger so the woofer can fit in it and then mak'n a brace out of more wood so it is legal
