I was at the defiance show and won 2 12" aftershock subs. I was given the t/s params ,but they don't come out correctly on my termpro. it tells me to use an ungodly small ported enclosure. I need to verify the t/s params again. can't wait to test these babies out thanks!

As far as I know, you do have the right specs. If you want to be 100% sure, just email what you have and I will cross reference them with my computer!!!

Shockers are the new PRO series by Atomic THunder. They have been tested to be about 2 dB louder than the DD 9015 - "I think that was it, help me Gary" and 1.1 dB louder than the STROKER! This is not an opinion it is fact! For more information call (419) 782 - 5551.

Hehe. Some woofers throw programs for a loop. My favorite example was the old RF Pro 12. It modelled a .39 cuft PORTED enclosure for max-flat. Worked way better in 2.5... You're going to have to play around with these ones. E-mail the specs and I'll try to help..

Atomic Thunder is the name of the company. After Shock is the subs. And let me tell you Shock ripped one of them apart letterally to show how well they are built. Very impressive. You could barely rip the surround. And a the poly cone is very impressive as well. He did a great job with them. Not to mention he is a stand up guy as well, answered all my questions till I couldn't think of any more.

Absolutly correct Shock. Each sub was tested in a 4.25 cubic foot box, ported at 32hz(?). This box is recommended by all three manufactures, as being the optimum enclosure, for each sub. A Nexsus Lion amp was used,no shortage of power here. Each test consisted of an impeadence curve and a spl test. The car was bone stock, and the battery recharged between tests. A Termlab meter was used (what else), and the mic placment was untouched through out the entire test. The head unit volume was the same for each test as well as the frequency being used. As Shock stated, this was a factual test. The readings were, starting with the DD-9015, 148.7, the Stroker,149.6, the Shocker, 150.7. If my memory serves me correct, these are the numbers. Congratulations to Aftershock, Gary

I was so impressed by these woofers you may very well see them in the Blazer at finals. That is if they can handle the power were running now Image Dynamics, Crossfire BMF's, Planet Audio Big Bangs, all toast in seconds.... We'll see what those Shockers can do. So far that is the only other woofer I can find other than the DD that "might" work. I saw way to many Strokers Blown/tore to shreds! (literally!!) at NSPL finals to even consider them.

jc2, I did not do the testing, I owned one of the subs that was being tested. The car that was being used peaked at 55hz. Each sub peaked at that frequency. The SPL fell off when 54hz and 56hz was used. (Shock, I believe these numbers are correct??) Gary

the kid you killed with your american bass subs only had one nexus lion on a pair and how much power do you have going to you two subs probably more than he does. Plus his subs are svc

I am sorry to hear you are not impressed. It is funny though, the kid, you refer to, is running mid line AFTER SHOCK subwoofers with one amplifier putting out around 1100 watts. Now let's discuss you. Two American Bass subs and FOUR Earthquake 200DHC's (correct me if I am wrong of course). Also, with a difference of approximately six dB between lanes, (depending upon frequency and vehicle) it does become easy to, as you call it, kill someone. Now, looking at the event results, you beat Zach by roughly 5 dB. I don't call that killing him, given the conditions of the microphones at Equalizer. If you were also watching, a Voyager went through at the end for EXHIBITION and posted a 154.4 with two Shockers. Completely Stock vehicle. This post is discussing the SHOCKER, the pro line from Atomic Thunder. The mid line, AFTER SHOCK, is also a very competitive driver. Please, in the future, be aware of the facts. You are entitled to your own opinion, just please remember when comparing scores to weigh all variables. (We saw your vehicle at Equalizer also, another strong car) Good Luck on future endeavors.

Hmmm... I do know this. Todd Jones. 12 Aftershock 15s. 4800 watts real power. 168 dB. Under 80. The accurate lane at Equalizer. 167 on my meter. Now that's Aftershock!

Not to be rude to Sam but, everyone competing knew what the bad lane was. It was down by 6 compared to the other and unfortunately Zach, with 2 Aftershock 15s fell victim to the low lane like everyone else who didn't have lane choice. Kinda of amazing I can go from 166.7 to 160.7 by just switching lanes! The runs were within 3 mintues of each other. More amazing than that was I hit my normal 166.7 on my meter after the event.... wow how many thousands of watts to Zach's 1100 watts with Zach on the low lane?

Hey thanks For sticking up for me guys but I do have to say that it isn't cool to dogin' on people when you don't know anything about the car except that it had AFTER SHOCK subs in it. Just so you know the car was built mid-season so it has a couple of flaws like 1) lack of power 2) svc 3) 44 HZ note but I still think that from what it started out as 2 months ago it is doing good. By the way at Finals it will have 2 SHOCKERS in it and hopefully doing 160's+
The "KID" that got "KILLED" at the show
