Is it just me or is this orginization a 4 state "thing" down south? I'd be interested in joining this organization but, I won't drive that far. =)

Well, if you can find a shop in your area willing to hold an event, I'm sure Fred will be more than happy to set something up. If there is a strong enough demand in your area, speak to others and other shops.

Yeah, the only way to have the shows in your area is if a shop is willing to do it. This is a goal that will hopefully be met this year for NSPL, expansion. We want to have shows from the eastcoast to the westcoast and everywhere in between so to all if you are REALLY interested in having a show in your area PLEASE contact your local shop and have them call NSPL at 336-887-5595 or go to website at www.nsplcompetition.com for other contact info.

I have looked over there format and it looks to be very promising. I will be in contact with a few shops, well, at least one, to see about getting some NSPL action up here.
dB Drag is cool, but not if you run a sealed system. =) USAC is a lot bigger up here than dB Drag. Maybe not "bigger" but, they did have A LOT more shows. NSPL looks to be just about right. Classes for ANYBODY, new or old, big or small. I like that. =)
Simple and easy to follow rules. Not like Db Drag with ALL the "special" provisions. =) I'll DEFINATELY have to look into this. Thanks again guys!!! =)

NSPL is definitely the best format for spl competition I've seen yet, DB drag is cool but with this years rules it makes it a bit too difficult to get to finals, there's too many people that get too extreme as far as the stereos go. I prefer to keep mine decent for a daily driver instead of building an enclosure that has a 20 db peak at 60 hz to knock my head off when listening to Limp Bizkit. I can't afford to buy another car. I hope NSPL grows quickly cause it's an awesome format.
------------------ If it says "watts" on the heatsink DON'T BUY IT!! Unless it's a SONY, ZAPCO, CROSSFIRE, OR PPI!!!! (I'll get around to changing this completely sometime soon.)
