The consumer division all new for 2001 will feature a combination of cone area, power, and price of the subs. For example the classes will be 0-24" (2-12, 1-15), 25"-30"(2-15,1-18) no wall box must be 12" down from the ceiling. Next two classes will be 0-30", and 31"to 60" where a wall is allowed. But the power stipulation is that you are only allowed maximum one amp per sub. This elimiates the more advanced competitor from using alot of power. Next is the price of the subs the retail cost must not exceed $250.00 dollars so to eliminate the Superheavyweight Subs of the world. This my friends will be the consumer SPL class.
2001 The SPL underground will surface to show the most elite competition curcuit on the planet. A circuit that allows a class for all types of SPL vehichles to compete don't miss an event this upcoming season because the VOLUME WILL BE TURNED UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

To answer the question of a vehicle with 2-15" with 16 amps or 4-15" with 32 amps. If the vehicle has a wall and the only modification beyond the door jam is a reinforced headliner that is even with the top of the door; then the vehicle is classed as Unmodified Speaker SPL division 0-30", 31"-60", 61"-120", and 121"-up. If the vehicle has a modified interior(go to nsplcompetition.com under rules/expert)will be classed as Modified Speaker SPL 0-30", 31"-60", 61"-120", 121"-up. Also for those who still live by the power class and will die by the power class The Power Modified will be fun; same interior modification rules as the old expert format except the classes will be 0-250 watts, 251-1000, 1001-up into 4 ohms. The lowest rating on an amplifier in this class will be 25 watts x 2. The idea is that their is a class for almost anytype of SPL vehicle. And for competitors who do not have any competitions in their state it is an automatic invite to the finals in 2001.

I am getting to it. I redid my entire network only to find the 32 IP's from my T1 provider were not routable!!! So I have been out of the loop for a minute. But I am getting back up to speed and in the process of restoring my last backup before the switchover. Hopefully they can get things resolved before 2001!!!
BTW...What kinda box you be needing?
