Well, SPL fans the 2006 class list is now finished. I am sorry for the rush but, we did not anticipate an event before Oct 22, 2005. The fair show in Lumberton came a bit early so, we will make due.
First, off the minimum amp power rating at 4 ohm to even be accepted will be 250 watts.(Not 50 watts or 25 watts). Strapping amplifiers counts as two amps. Amplifiers with subjective ratings will be rated by NSPL.
Trunk Stock 0-500 (1-amp, No extra batteries, 1-1/0 power wire from front to back, No Caps)
Trunk Stock 501-1500 (2-amps, 1 extra battery, 1-1/0 power wire from front to back, No Caps)
*All equipment must be installed in the trunk. No batteries on the back seat, floorboard, or ROOF (Did I say That!). 12 volt batteries, factory rear deck.
Beginner Car 0-500 (1-amp, No extra batteries, 1-1/0 power wire from front to back, No caps)
Beginner Car 501-1500 (2-amps, 1 extra battery, 1/0 power wire from front to back, No caps)
*All equipment must be installed behind the b-pillar. 12 volt batteries.
Beginner Truck/SUV 0-500 (1-amp, No extra batteries, 1-1/0 power wire from front to back, No caps)
Beginner Truck/SUV 501-1500 (2-amps, 1 extra battery, 1-1/0 power wire from front to back, No caps)
*All equipment must be installed behind the b-pillar. 12 volt batteries
No Wall 0-24" (1-amp per sub and strapping counts as 2 amps, 1-extra battery.)
No Wall 25"-48" (1-amp per sub and strapping counts as 2 amps, 2-extra batteries.)
*This will replace Consumer and Pro No-Wall. Amateurs and pro will compete together in the all new No-Wall division.
Pro 0-1200 Pro 1201-2400 Pro 2401-up Pro Hardcore Pro Trunk (Cut Rear Decks, Power Unlimited)
*Changes for these classes from last year are as follows: No one is allowed to sit inside the vehicle, If the seats are to remain inside the vehicle then they must be bolted down in the factory position. Seats can be removed from the vehicle(Pro Trunk can only remove the two front seats). 16 volt batteries are allowed.
*These classes replace the former Modified SPL Classes.
Insane (Boxes that go past the b-pillar) *(For the SPL Insane)
*All State and World records will start over at the beginning of each season. ** Memberships must be renewed at the beginning of each season, instead of year to date. Effective 10-1-2005.

fred are beginner class limited to 12" subs or can you run 15",i have a customer that has done iasca but never ran nspl can he still be in beginner class.....what i'm saying is how strict are the beginner rules?

fred my customers that have never entered a comp.. want to know how many years can you be in beginner class they see guys that are previous world champs wanting to run beg. again is this correct.......

2 years. 1 to win title, and 1 to defend! this starts this year with the new rules and classes. so if a competitor wins beg. car this year he will be able to run it again next year to defend the title. but after that they will have to advance.

Hmmm, cant sit in the car no more.....16V's and no power restraints. There are going to be people jumping all over and into this class. Well, back to the lab for yet another Mad Scientist Creation.

yeah well it was b/w a explorer and a rex and well a rex came my way at the right time with the gas prices being so high and i just cant afford gas in my truck and in a exploer it cost alone in my truck when gas is 3.05 to fill it up its 98 dollers so its a rex for me and they look cool too
