A 147 on Db Drag will be a 140 on Fred's mic. It is very hard to get high score's on his LinearX. Fred's mic reads about 2-3 db's lower than a regular LinearX. I don't know why, but it does.

The Natural did multiple 170's on the certified Termpro at finals, he did 160.? on Fred's Linear. Some cars are different, but for the most part around 5-7 dB low seems to be the norm.

Well I just got started in the NSPL. On average I am hitting 137 and some change at the shows. I am running 2 JL w3s DVCs and 2 autotek 500.2s. I choose to go by speaker size, not amp watts, so I usually go in the 25-30 no-wall SPL category. At the NSPL shows, I have been pritty competitive I would say (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). At a Whitlee show in SC I hit about a 147.5....about 10 DBLs more. At the IASCA show I went to, about 142..alittle in between. Yes the mic is tight at NSPL shows, but I would say definately give it a try. You never know who will show up, and it also gives you a starting point.
