Would a passive radiator be considered a sub as far as number or cone area? No power can be applied to it, and by itself is useless, so its not technically a sub. In dB Drag racing a passive radiator is not considered a sub. (I think they call it a port) I'm not positive about NSPL but I would think it is not considered a sub.

Thanks. If that is the case in dB Drag and NSPL, why are they not used? If its not a sub, and moves air, that sounds like a good thing to me.

Not to mention that they are quite a bit more difficult to tune than a standard port.
