I got my Street 1-2 car setup, finally. I go out today just screwing around and plug two Avalon twelves in the car. These subs are in my truck with a smaller amp and have only been asked to just 'fill in' for the music. The damn subs are louder. Not only louder they go much deeper than the Stroker's that are in the car! Im talking $80 Long Excursion series 12's here against $750 Strokers. I do have a question though. The Strokers seem to play all day with the 2000X at 2 ohms. The Av's turn the SAT light on before full volume into 2 ohms. Any idea on what's causing that? I can imagine impedance is dropping on the Av's?

Avalon? Never heard of those subs........ I could imagine that would make ya mad....Guess it goes to show that subs don't make that much of a difference with the right install and right amount of power....

Hornet, the Avalon co. went bust earlier this year. The LE 12 has the damn widest foam surround i've seen on a twelve and they taut 24mm one way excursion. I actually would not doubt it seeing these things move.
