Any more progress on the sub list and/or the raise to the 2000 watt limit?

After speaking with various manufacturers regarding product popularity and price points, this list will PROBABLY change to allow amps up to 2000 watts. I am still soliciting input from retailers.
Ultimately, we may end up with a "short" list of amps that may not be used. Instead of a long list such as this one.
The speaker list is coming.
I am pleading as a competitor...can we please have a resolution to this issue. I know its a VERY daunting task to try cover every amp and sub that made the light of day, just want some type of clarification.

Wayne. Can you please update the information for amplifiers in street stock as the current list caused some problems over the weekend.
That would be an understatement... But I agree the info needs to be updated.

From this thread the amplifiers still need to be 1000 watts and under for all street stock classes. I would like to know if this is still current

My thought on this was the limit would stay at 1000 watts, and possibly next season he'd raise it to 1500 or 2000 watts. It's taking him so long to get the 1000 watt list together that trying to get a list for 2000 watts will take him til the end of the year. Not sure how many people are helping him on this, but I think he needs more people working on this list in order to get it done.

I think he should have started this list last season, at least have a list done before he started the new classes that are supposed to follow this "list".

And it looks like the lack of a list was a kick in the ass to the Street Stock Competitors at Finals. I was talking to a couple guys and they had to buy new subs because they weren't approved subs, from an approved list that doesn't exist. The Street Stock score would have been a lot higher if someone had made up a list on time, why have a class with a rule of approved equipment only and then not have the list ready for Finals???? That is completely STUPID.

Before next year the complete rules , aproved amps and subs need to be listed. If not the class needs to be removed untile the list can be completed. To many problems when there is no list of what can be used.
