Well the topic peaty much says it all. I ask because they sound VERY amazing in big systems…they kind of take you to another world. I have been deep into trance for about 4 years now and I think I would die without it I go to almost every single rave and have over 500 trance CDs. Let me know if you want me to recommend you a couple of songs to go get form Napster.

Wow…I sure got a lot of replies, I would think since all you guys are in love with loud music, you would all be great fans of Trance. After all...trance is the only kind of music that is designed to be played at maximum power.
Here guys…go on Napster and download the following songs: ATB: 9PM (Till I come) Bedrock: Heavens Scent I guarantee that YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!!! Go and check them out and tell me what you think.

Dude, trance isn't any fun to listen to song by song...mix tapes (or CDs, whatever) sure, but it's pretty pointless to listen to one or two songs and move on to something else...

I used to be way into trance/ mostly jungle. Things just haven't been the same with me and trance since I went to rehab. I still like to listen to it, it just brings back memories that I cant deal with anymore (takes a deep breath while holding back tears). I'll have to agree with yall though, trance is the best music for a good system. Its the only kind of music that focuses on every bit of the sound spectrum.

Jermome, Actually, most trance fans listen to songs individually not in mixes or full albums. Only true hardcore trance fans appreciate the true meaning and life trance music has and listen to a full album or mix to get maximum satisfaction and joy.
beastyb0yy, I am VERY sorry to hear the situating you are in. Believe it or not, I understand what you are going through. The only advise I can give you is don’t let bad memories and experience stop you from experiencing what you love. It will get better in time, but you need to face your pain instead of just trying to block it out of your mind. Good luck and let me know if you need anything.
Ace, If you really are a HUGE fan of trance, I would advise you to go buy some mixes instead of just trying to download songs one by one. Unlike rap, pop, and rock, trance can not be listened to individually. Trance mixes are usually made of perfectly pure Class-A songs DJed legends. Try the following mixes in order I have listed: ----- Euphoria: Ibiza Trance Nation: 01>>00 Gatecrasher: Wet Trance Nation: 02>>00 Euphoria: Level 4 Trance Nation: 2 Euphoria: Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 (3 different cds) Paul Okenfold: Tranceporter Gatecrasher: black label, white label, and red label ----- By the time you reach the ed of this list, you will be deep in the heart of trance music and will know what to get from there on.
As for single songs, if you must, try: ----- Sasha: Xpander PvD: For an Angel BT: Flaming June Three Drivers: Greece 2000 (hard to find, but defiantly worth it!) Sash: Adelante Rank 1: Airwave CRW: I Feel Love ----- That’s all I can think up of tonight—plus I got to get back to doing HW —but let me know when you want more songs and I’ll give you some more names.

Mousavi...was that a compliment becuase I can fully appreciate trance or a dis right in front of my face because I was wrong about how most people just listen to individual songs...all I know is that I don't think trance is the type of music one can listen to for 4 minutes and get its full satisfaction...

Thanks Mousavi, Its been hard, but not that hard. The thing about Electronica is you have to move slowly into it. You cant just jump into hour long mixes and expect to love it if you've never litened to this type of music before. It is good to just pick out random songs by people you like. Most people who've never heard electronica before (Realize I say most) cant sit and listen to the same mix for an hour and enjoy it. Its an acquired taste I believe. Personally I started out with more mainstream stuf like lords of acid and paul oakenfold and the slowly migrated to the good underground stuff. Dont discourage people from downloading single songs. Remember back to the days when you first got interested in Techno, Trance, Jungle, House, or whatever floats your boat.

That's the thing, when I first started listening to electronic music, I didn't know who in the world produced each song, I only knew who was spinning it...
