Aaron Lewis (lead singer of Staind)- Black(originally by Pearl Jam)
Ben Folds Five-Brick
The Eagles-Lyin Eyes
Green Day-Time of Your Life
Green Day-Wake Me Up When September Ends
Kansas-Dust In The Wind
Linkin Park-My December
Live-Lightning Crashes
Metallica-Nothing Else Matters
Nickelback-Someday (the video is sadder than the song)
Procol Harum-Whiter Shade of Pale
The Rolling Stones-Wild Horses
Seether ft. Amy Lee-Broken
pretty much anything by Staind (especially "Its Been Awhile" and Smile Empty Soul
Snow Patrol-Run
Soundgarden-Black Hole Sun
Stone Sour-Bother

Those are just some I found by looking through my music collection, they are not all nessecarily based on lyrics, but by the overall feel of the song.

I would have to say the two saddest songs ever are

My Immortal by Evanesence
and November Rain by Guns N Roses

Metallica-Nothing Else Matters

How is that sad? It's more about guys on the road thinking of the laides left at home.... To me it's more of a positive song [Confused]
