I love my rap, but can't always listen to it 24/7 you know?

When not listenin to rap I tend to listen to Linkin Park, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin (if I spelled it right), KoRn (older stuff), Sublime, some other rock.

And a guilty pleasure is 80's music. [Big Grin]

Great Topic! But, I hate questions like this [Smile] lol
I like so many types of music it's hard to answer.
A few artists and styles that populate my collection would be:

Dance - of all types from classic Industrial to Trance to 80's Synthpop. (This list would be just silly long for a “favorites” list, so I’ll just leave it like this.) ...

Rock - Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Dokken, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Skinny Puppy (I know, more industrial), Judas Priest ...

Alternative - Linkin Park, Massive Attack, Staind, Godsmack, Saliva, Creed, Puddle of Mud, Sarah McLachlan, Perl Jam, Nirvana...

Rap / bass/ hip hop - Sir Mix-a-Lot, N.W.A., Nappy Roots, Bass Mekanik, DJ Laz, MC Shy D, Dougie Fresh, Outkast...

80' bands (of course I'm bias on some of these [Wink] ) - Real Life, Pseudo Echo, The Outfield, Alphaville, Depeche Mode, Berlin, t'pau, Anything Box, New Order, Erasure...

Throw in some Boz Scaggs, SRV, Sinatra, Diana Krall, a bunch of Classical and we have just scratched the surface. [Big Grin]

Rap/Hip-Hop: 2Pac, Biggy, Eminem, D12, 50 Cent, G-Unit, Dr. Dre, Obie Trice, Ice Cube, NWA, Jay-Z, DMX, X-Raided, Brotha Lynch, C-Bo, Tech N9ne, Necro, Cage, Ill Bill, Non-Phixion, Jedi Mind Tricks, Dilated Peoples, King Gordy, Atmosphere, Chino XL, Canibus, High And Mighty, Smut Peddlers, Aesop Rock...And that pretty much covers it.

Blink 182 (dunno what classified as)
Rock: Black Sabbath
The Ramones (punk I think???)
That is about it I don't listen to metal anymore even though I have many many CD's like Korn, Godsmack, Slipknot etc etc...They collect dust.

I'm blind in Texas!! "Cuz I'ma Manimal, half man half animal...."

Long live Blacky Lawless!!

Emperor & Celtic Frost - good old days, excellent tunage. Add in some elder Voivod and Venom (when Slayer pays homage to Venom, we all must pay honor to Venom, no?).

Years ago I would have had to put Slayer, Voivod and Celtic Frost and mabe even Helloween on my list. I thouht about putting them on this list, but I've kinda drifted outa the loop a bit.

Since Texas was mentioned, might as well throw Hellhammer in. [Wink]
