Did you get the 2nd edition / release version? You know the one I'm talkin' about - Blitzkrieg & Am I Evil?. Just glad that those two songs were put onto the recent Garage Days Re-revisited CD --- don't think I've listened to Disc 1 of that yet, just the second disc with all the old material. Almost got the LP when I went out to CA a decade or so ago - that woulda been cool.
Now....if I could just find Garage Days Re-visited on Disc....gots it on tape (lost the box & cover in college, but managed to find the tape).
I think that I can listen to Kill em All - ...And Justice for All on repeat just about all day long. I can listen to The Black Album a couple times, but hit fast forward through those two slow songs (NEM & Unforgiven).

back when metallica was metallica...before Cliff died
that was the 3rd metallica album i bought (first was "...And Justice For All" and 2nd was "Ride the Lightning" (or "Master of Puppets"). By far one of their best albums
The Four Horsemen" and "Blitzkreig" were a couple of my favorites on it. And the bass solo "Orion" has always blown my mind...beautiful.
glad to see you like their older stuff too, before they progressed (sold out? ) into this garbage (imho) they now play. Not that they suck as musicians, just that their music sucks now.
Side note:
Therion (Swedish death metal) did a cover of "Fight Fire With Fire" from MOP if anyone's interested. and no, the vocals are understandable...Therion actually went on to use ALOT of opera singers in their later albums!

"Come on....Jump in the Fire!!" "Die, by my hand, I creep across the land, killing first born man, I'm creeping death...[repeat]" "Searchin'....Seek and Destroy..." "Master...master, pleasant dreams that I am after..." "Am I Evil? I am man, yes I am!!" [Diamond Head cover]
One of the stations around here (DC-Metro area) has Mandatory MetallicA every night @ 9. When I was still a DJ back on campus, my second show (I had one every term, 8 shows) was The Metal Melitia --- needless to say, a butt-load of Kill 'em All - Black (that was their newest album at the time).
