Can I use a security film on my 2 side windows in front? They could possibly add to the stregth of the windows but I want it to stop theives from breaking the windows while parked.

The front window is already somewhat protected by the factory stuff so I will leave that at that. What about Window tint on the front window?

And last. Is it legal for me to make some custom lock hinges out of stainless steel that use a padlock on the outside of the car provided it's unlocked or does not stiffen the doors during competitions.

Thanks X, the guy with the theft problem.

That film will put you in extreme class as it is not factory OEM.

As far as the locks, as long as they dont hold the door closed tighter than would be without them, then I would say they are fine.

Good luck.

I'm preety sure that Rob and Nicole had it on their front window with the blazer, they went to finals.. And I'm also pretty sure Rob told me the judges didn't have a problem with it...because it was flexible and whatnot..... ask Ray [Cool]

Thats what I figured with the looks. What about the front window tint.

And as far as security with the 2 side windows what would you suggest then. As far as impeding thiefs from breaking the windows to gain access.
