I was thinking about this the other night. As the rules say, 600watts rms maximum power. Say if I have a 600 watt amp that is powering my subwoofers, then I also have my Interior amp a 200 watt amp. Does the interior amp count in the total power...if it does, if we show the judges that it is not running to the drivers will it be allowed, or if we show that it isnt even connected, will that sufice? We count all of the amps that are in the vehicle (except for the source unit). The judges don't have time to determine which amp is connected to which drivers. If you don't want the amp to count, you must remove it from the vehicle prior to entering the competition.
