Topic: Street Stock 2009: Which Subs are allowed?
Which subs are allowed for Street Stock 2009??? I read 2,5" coil and no cast frame basket, but what is meant with cast frame? Are stamped-steel baskets allowed? Like Kicker L5? Is there also any brand limitation for amps and subs? -------------------- 2008 Street B: 160 dbzzzz 2009 Street B: 160,8 dbzzzz 2010 Street B: 160,6 dbzzzz

Hi, Sonofthor in the rules that are out (based on the matrix and the discussions) it is stated that no competiton grade subs. But else than that 2.5" coil as a max. Stamped steel is ok and power is limited to max 2000 WRMS. -------------------- Electric Team - B2 audio WR holder 2009/10 SM1-2 165.9 (166.1)dB2zz Team Re-Loud 09 World Champion BR 129.9 dB 09 World finals Ex 3-4 2nd Eurofinals 174.4 dB Worlds 2nd loudest REX beaten by .1 dB. 09 World finals Street Max 1-2 165.7 dB 3rd.

So to answer your question, I say yes, you can use Kicker L5 subs, at least that is what my wife's expedition is gonna use, but for now I have to remove the kicker L7's. -------------------- Michael A. yup, and within a short period of time quite many stamped woofers will be upgraded. All for the benefit of the end-user (hopefully) ;0) -------------------- Electric Team - B2 audio WR holder 2009/10 SM1-2 165.9 (166.1)dB2zz Team Re-Loud 09 World Champion BR 129.9 dB 09 World finals Ex 3-4 2nd Eurofinals 174.4 dB Worlds 2nd loudest REX beaten by .1 dB. 09 World finals Street Max 1-2 165.7 dB 3rd.
