its OUTSIDE the car.....

removing it will not change the interior volume of the vehicle.

i would say there is no differance in removing the wiper than there would be in removing an antenna or gas cap or headlight.

but as we all know... doesnt matter what anyone thinks, except the judge that inspects your car at finals and how they decide to interpret the rules.

For me :

In Competition you can remove the wiper.

After you have to install it, because it can start raining [Big Grin]

2 questions.

Why would you want to remove it?
Why would it not be legal?

I know a few people that took them off to prevent windshield breaking from the wipers hitting it.

I know mine fall off at a show and I HAD to put it back on.
But I know what you mean Peter, I would say just bend it out away from the Glass. and after the burp you can put it back on the Glass.

Why have to have a windshield wiper in a class
where you can put out the safety belt, seat, put out
the rear axle and weld the wheels onto a
metal frame, have concrete in your car,
cannot drive your car regularly...

Not even a gas tank is required and some more things

So no need for a windshield wiper, just take it off...
