I have a Ford F-150 Extended cab pick up, I'm about to rebuild my box to hold 4 Soundstreams T5, I took out the back seat and build the box along where the seat was originally located. The box is below the window the lower part of the side window. The question is : If I mount my amps along the back of where the seat use to be will that put me into another class? If so.... what class? Mounting the amps on the back of the seat will be higher than the bottom of the side windows but not higher than the back window.

Dbdrag measures the lowest part of the FRONT windows (side windows) to determine a wall.
If the enclosure is over that, and still behind the b pillar. Then that is street max. However street max is limited to ONE battery this year and a maximum of 4 amplifiers.
If you stay under the front window line, then it is Super Street No Wall
If you have more then 1 battery and you are above the window line then that is Super Street 3-4
I believe I'm right on all accounts, but I'm sure someone else will chime in to verify

First. What class do you want to compete in?
Can't do street because you took out the back seat Streetmax not sure because of batteries in the truck SS NW if the box is above the front window its a no go. If the amps are mounted to the enclosure then they have to be below the window also. You can mount the amps to the roof and still be in NW as mounting amplifiers has historically not been considered a mod. SS is open class

I'm trying to stay in the Street Max class. Any suggestions on what size (in cubic feet) that I should go with and box design? I'm going with 4 12" Soundstreams T5's and 2 Soundstreams PCA 2000D's (for now). If I don't get the sound that I'm looking for I will go with 4 PCA 2000D's.
