I am new to db drag so bear with me. I cut out the armrest in my cadillac sedan deville, will this modification put me in a new class? If so what class??

We are really only concerned with Stuctural modifications that will result in an increase in SPL. It doesn't look as if the removal of your armrest would be considered a modification. I can't tell you what class you would need to compete in because you didn't specify the type of equipment in your vehicle. More than likely, you would be competing in the Street or Super Street division.
