Generally, you can't get an AGU over 60 amps and it's hard to find an ANL under 100 amps so...

Hehehe.. Good call, dukk.

Also- I find Maxi fuses to be REALLY ugly, although they are moderately easy to work with, I just prefer to keep them out of my install.. You can get maxi's up to ... pretty big value.

Im gonna use 80amp maxi fuses for my distribution block and a 150amp wafer fuse( anl & agu, cant remember whic his which) near the batter. Personally, MAXI fuses look cool to me, the come in all sorts of colors....
like other things I know............

The colors correspond to the value of the fuse - just like an ATC fuse.

Not too keen on the MAXIs myself either.

Hey Shaughn - I've found 1, 3, and 5 amp AGUs too, but the 80 continues to elude me

This website says they have 80A AGUs, but the site looks a little out of date.

even though they cost more I prefer breakers, since you don't have to go replace them if they open, and its hard to find someone open on a sunday if you blow one at a show that isnt at a shop.

yes boys/girls, but in terms of functionality, there all pretty much the same. one doesn't perform any better than another? other than appearance, size, and usefulness (breakers), there pretty much the same.
