I have a turbostart charger that was/is made for the acid filled not the agm's. I went to turbostarts website and downloaded the instructions to update to agm. It said to move the limit pot all the way counter-clockwise and then adjust up to 18.60 +/- .02 volts but my charger starts out at 18.93. Has anyone in the past had this problem? Scottie J.? I cant afford a new powermaster 12/16 so I have to use what I have. Here are the instructions.

You can charge AGM 16V batteries up to about 19.2 with no problems. Unfortunately, even with this modifications I still do not recommend using it unless it is a last resort. For some reason it still causes the battery to vent, which will shorten the lifespan considerably.
