I have a single XS Power D3100 and a Deka group 34 battery in my car. I'm looking to get another D3100 if the price is right. I've come across a few deals and I was wondering what some others thought about what I should do. I can get 2 Deka Group 31 batts for the D3100 in a straight up trade. Or I've found 2 Stinger SP1700's for the same price as I would pay for a used D3100.
What should I do? Should I go with the 2nd D3100, do the 2 Deka Group 31's, or get 2 of the Stinger 1700's? I really like the Powermaster batteries but they're really expensive. I didn't pay as much when I got the one that I have now as they are new at this time. I got mine for $299 shipped and now they are going for $350 shipped.
The application is mostly for bassrace, but I do burp in the NSPL Car 1801-3600 class and need something to get me loud as well. I've heard that the Stinger's are best for burps and the Powermasters will perform better for daily and bassrace. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the help Josh. I'm still wanting to get the car louder on burps though and the Stinger batts seem to be the ones that would help me do that. I'm kinda torn here cause if I did do another D3100 I'm sure that would be better than the 2 Stinger's anyway. I'll probably just go with another Powermaster. I just can't seem to find a used one at all. I'll probably have to get one from Mechman, unless Scottie wants to give me a good deal on one

I'm always reluctant to recommend used batteries... you never really know how they've been used and for how long. It's a little differnet than a sub or an amp that dont really have a life span.
