i just got a semi alt. anyone ever use one on a car?

i dont think semi alts will be better then any factory car alt. here is a link to get some info on semi alts.

Not really. They are just bigass 250's. I'm not an alternator rebuilding kinda guy but the shop at my work had a bunch of badass rebuilt bigass tow truck alternators and stuff. Most were about 200-250 amps.
