Okay, my system is going to look like this:
Clarion DRX7575
Diamond Audio MM(motorsport) 51/4's
DA 1" tweeters
JL 8W0s
as a front stage powered by a:
JBL BP80.4 amp(40amps)
for my subs I will have 4 JL 15W6s running off of two JBL BP 1200.1s at 2 ohm.(80 amps each.)
I also have an AudioControl EQX and an Epicenter but they really don't draw any current.(like 20-40 amps combined)
Total current draw for all of my amps will be about 200 amps so I figure as of right now I will save cash and buy a second battery along with an isolator.(probably the fused streetwires series batteries) What size isolator should I buy? I can get one right now from an auto parts store for around 90 bux but it is 165 amps. Is that enough juice? I could buy ones from Stinger but they are herendous in pricing (like 300 bills for a 200 amp and that's my store cost from Circuit City) Any advice would be appreciated. I would run my car off of one battery and run the system off of the other(with the exception of the head unit) Another question is if I did this, would I really have to replace both batteries. Sorry for the long post, but I really had a lot to say.
Thanks guys

I would dump the isolator idea, and get a large solenoid to separate the 2 batteries. Isolators generally work fine, however, since they use a bunch of diodes, and pretty much nothing else, they can fail easily, and you have a voltage drop across the diodes. Just my 2 cents.

STILL waiting to hear a GOOD pair of HLCD's!!

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

How would I install this bad boy?
and
What should i look for when I go to buy one?

good idea to dump the isolator, you may want to try a Stinger 200 amp relay, they are only like $40 to normal buyers so if you get a cut from your job they are cheaper than that, and do a very good job.
