I'm trying to find out the alternator size on my 92 Lexus ES300. I plan on running ~800 watts to my frontstage (say about 120 amps max draw) and need to figure out if I would be able to fit a JBL 600.1 in there. Realize that I'm not going to compete and will VERY rarely play the system to it's full output (and when I do, it will be with the engine running, but not in motion).

I believe the alt. is 90 amp, you should probably be alright with that setup. I'm gonna be running about 1100 to the sub and 600 to front stage and probably pounding on it a fair amount so I'm gonna try to get ahold of an alt. for my '92 ES soon, hopefully about 150 amp. Maybe Dominick? Haven't talked to him before, but I've heard good things.

Let me know how it turns out if you use the stock alt. And have you tried your DD 5's in the doors yet? I haven't even looked at the space yet, but I'm going to try to fit the 6.5W's in their w/ an MDF spacer angling them up to raise the soundstage. That way I'd have a little more legroom for the mini horns.
