i'm going to get a new 165 amp alt. Now, for the new wires, do i need special power and ground wires or can i just get them from monster cable or stinger and those others? and should i get 2 guage?

any type of wire will do. 4 gauge is plenty big. 2 gauge is unneccesary.. look for welding cable, its the cheapest..
