I'm looking for compnenets speaker 5.25"
what would i go with ?

i need very storng tweeter
anything close to MB Quart Qseries, but cheaper?

You could always poke yourself in the ear with scissors, that would give the same effect as Quart tweets.
Boston Pro tweets are pretty bright but not as much as Quart, I haven't heard anything as bright as Quart tweets. I had my Illusion silk domes at +6dB and they were bad but not as bad as MB.

Parts Express has a GREAT deal on Vifa products right now. One of their 5.25s looks like it has the basket fit for a 12" SPL monster!!

I don't think they have them selling in component sets, but they are selling the mid-bass and tweeters seperately at a nice price.

Also, check out MMXpress.com. I think they're running a Spring Special. I've not heard many, if any, bad words about them, and I've talked with John frequently and got good vibes.
