I want to go with a 3 way component set for my next system. I'm considering the Diamond Audio Motorsports M541 (1" tweet 4" mid)with the 3-Way add-on M56.1Mx3. I would get an amp that would do at least 200x2@4ohms. But, I noticed that the setup I just mentioned would cost the same If I were to get the M561 (1" tweet 6.5" mid) + M541 (1" tweet 4" mid), which in addition you would get an extra 1" tweeter. With this setup, I could keep my current amp, which puts out 90x2@4ohms to run the M541 running off the rear channel of my Eclipse Head unit which I can attenuate by using the fade function but will be placed in the doors (all mids and highs I plan to install in front, no rear fill), and I would probably use a PC2400 or PC2600 for the M561. I need some opinions on some disadvantages or advantages of the choices above. What do you think..?
