I have a 1988 Bonneville with 5 1/4" speakers in the doors. Currently I'm running an Alpine 7838 with 40x4 from. I have a pair of Sony Xplod ES 6x9's with no amp on them and Punch 360a2 running two punch xlc 12 inchers. Also in the dash I got a pair of factory 4x6's. I'm looking for some good sound quality up front at a relativily low cost. What do you think would be the best combonation of 4x6's and 5 1/4's or one of the other. I probably wont' be running amps to these if that helps.

Low-buck good value....hrm....*putting thinking cap on*.....
JBL Power, Infinity Reference (Kappa if you can/want to spend 120+/pair), Blaupunkt (I really liked mine in the BII's first system), Kicker Impulse, RF Coaxials and P-series, Kenwood, Pioneer/Sony (not my personal favs, but most people like them) - same with Polk, CV Stealth coaxials and comp sets, Audiobahn - haven't heard them yet - but John form MMXpress.com has made several nice comments about them to me.
