Im goign to replace the factory speakers in my car with ID Chameleon 6.5" speakers (components in the front doors and just the midbass drivers in the rear) and I just want to know everyone's opinions on them. If they are a nice smooth souding set of speakers with good midbass (Thats what Im looking for) at a good price. Also, what amp should I use to push them? Im thinking of a JBL 80.4 and put the front speakers at 2 ohms (probably gettign the 2 ohm Chameleons, not wiring the amp at 2 ohms) and the rear at 2 or 4 ohms (not sure about that yet). Any advice would be very helpful, around here not many people have component sets or the drive to have a high end system (everyone wants alot of bass but nothing else) so I need all the help I can get.

Chameleons are really nice speakers. I'd recommend them over Focal (I know I'm gonna get burned for that one ). Also the fact that they can be mounted coaxially makes them pretty versatile.
I don't know how that amp is rated, but send them anything over 50 RMS and keep it clean and they'll sound fine.
If possible, give them a listen though...
