I'm new to the car audio game and I need your help. What are some good speakers for my mids & highs below $100, on a budget?

I have a 77 Caprice and I'm looking for front and rear speakers each set under $100.

Many people may disagree with me becuase maxxsonics now owns them but MB Quart still has some decent speakers for cheap. From component sets (they include 6" woofer and 1" tweeter with crossover) to good coaxial speakers(speakers that have tweeters built on them).

does you caprice have 6.5"s in the front doors, or the 4" in the dash? probably a 6x9 in the back deck.
Boston Acoustics makes good speakers around that price. great for deck power, look at their S-series.
Pioneer's A-series fits in that price and sounds decent.

Mine has the 4" in the dash, but I will be adding some 6.5"s to the doors.

so you plan on adding an amplifier then? might wanna skips on the boston S-series if so. low power handling. if you spent another $50 a pair, you could get a MUCH better speaker

Yeah I'm adding a amp. I think I might be able to do the $150 range. This is just a daily banger, not competition.
