anybody use MXT comps? ive heard that they are pretty sounding...

"pretty" sounding? [What]

I haven't heard any good MTX components, but I saw some recently going into a demo vehicle that looked like they had promise. the passives were gorgeous. I unfortunately did not get to hear them--I'm also not sure they are released speakers (they may have been prototypes--I have no idea).

I just got my txc6.1 comps yesterday and they look to be pretty good, quite a few settings in the x-over.Too bad i wont be able to hook them up untill it warms up.are these the ones you were talking about andy? txc

I used to have the 8000 6.5s comp set in 2003. They sounded phenomenal. Great low end too.

nothing will sound better than the old black gold speakers they had back in the day. I loved those things
