i currently have 2 sets of 6.5" DLS MS6 components mounted in my front doors in pods. The tweets that came w/ the set are located in the dash (4x6 location) im not 100% happy w/ the components and think possibly switching out the tweeters will make me a little happier. i have over 150wrms going to each component set.

as far as i know/ remeber the DLS tweeters are 4ohm and are rated at 50wrms.
i forgot the crossover freq. but it was the same as my kicker resolutions if that helps, possibly 3.5khz.

im looking for something thats a little bit brighter i guess. the DLS are a little too laid back, im not sure if i want to step up to a metal tweet unless its similar to the seas rt25A i really liked those.

i have the ability to go active if necesary but im not sure yet if thats what i want to do... price range prefferably under 200 for 2 pairs

How are the tweets firing? and which DLS are they?

Those tweets benefit from being atleast somewhat on axis, I would try a different location before changing tweeters.
