so, after a year my tweets started cutting out all of a sudden. i've got a pair of dyn 340's with a xxk-4150 powering them. it can happen as quickly as 5 minutes at high volume (18-20) on my alpine deck. i've got a xxk-2500 running 2 subs. i really don't think it's my amp cutting out...after 5 minutes it's not getting that hot.
is this overprotection at the tweeter? or something else? not sure why this just started happening after a year of doing just fine

Could be a tweeter protect issue as well, but only way to know is trouble shoot and eliminate possibilities.
