you could always get something less shallow and just use a piece of mdf as a spacer, thats what i did with my components in my car and they work fine. -------------------- Eclipse 8445 (1)12" RE XXX (1)Hifonics BX1605D A/D/S 640is 3ways (1)JL Audio 300x2 amp PPI PAR-650

Morel has some shallow drivers. I'm not familiar with those doors at all, but usually you can add a spacer behind the driver and still fit the door panel back on just fine....thats what Mancini was talking about.

yep, i did it with my 04 Nissan Sentra Spec-v and the pannel goes on fine, because without the spacer the maganent wouldnt allow the window to go all the way down...its all good now -------------------- Eclipse 8445 (1)12" RE XXX (1)Hifonics BX1605D A/D/S 640is 3ways (1)JL Audio 300x2 amp PPI PAR-650

Try measuring the distance in front of the speaker with the grill on. So you can have an idea how much further you can increase mtg depth by adding spacers behind the speaker. -------------------- Yes this is my sig, no there is nothing for you to see. Quit looking at me, nothing is going to happen. Stop staring at me, cut it out, leave me alone....
