ok...just wonderin' how'd i'd set this up just to try it...i was perusing a few sites and ran across time-alignment...fun stuff to play with...although i know it might be a pain to get the phasing correct but i thought i'd try this way...i ran across putting speakers 15 degrees out of phase from another so that the right speaker reaches your ear(theoretically) the same time as the left...but they didn't explain how to wire it as such...anybody have a clue?...thanks

Well at 15 degrees some frequencies will reach your ears at the same time, some won't. Regardless of frequency you need to delay one signal by a fixed time, the amount of phase needed will depend on frequency. If you want to vary the phase find an electronic filter book and look at the all pass filters. The output volateg doesn't changer but the phase does. Or you could get a piece from PPI that does it for you.

hmmm...well i was on Decware's site and thatz where i found it...they're like pay 10 bucks for the schematics or look into the bible of all speaker books...i dunno if Borders might carry the book..i'll hafta check i guess...

They don't. I bought itat one time and have it on disk somewhere. They are using the speaker's roll off and phase differences between electical components to "phase align" your system. I thought the "book" was poorly writen and of no use to you if you have an active crossover anywhere in your system.

If I find the disk, then I will send it to you. I mean I guess that the whole idea could work, but most people these days don't or won't give up the active crossover on the subs.
