Hrm....three brands come to mind right off the top of my head (normally in the 8 Ohm world, but they should have 4 Ohm versions available):Peerless Vifa Morel A brand that I've not personally used, yet, but I've been told keeps up with the aforementioned is Dayton Loudspeakers . Will probably be picking up a pair of their 2" Dome Midrange Drivers to replace the ones on the home towers (surrounds have rotted away). As for out of the box: Infinity Reference; Boston Accoustic; Memphis; Orion XTR; CV V-Mag; and Eclipse PointSource have always been some of my low-cost bang-for-the-buck favourites. --------------------
