Does anyone have experience with these? They recommend an extremely low x-over point: 1.9 khz. If anyone can give me an overview of how they sound, it would be greatly appreciated.

i live in Turkey and i didn't have the chance to compare the lotus to other tweeters you may find there but from what i have heard , the lotus tweeter is a very nice choice .
frequency response is very linear only the roll of begins very early .It can handle a lot of power and the resonant frequency is very low ( like 750 Hertz or something ) which enables it to be a good tweeter in a 6,5 " two way setup .A 12db/Octave filter is more than enough .
i haven't recognised any metal harshness during my listening test but this is maybe because the surround on tweeters is cloth where the diaphram is metal . On the other hand it's not a laid back tweeter .
i used it with a SEAS Excel midrange ( 8 Ohm Home Speaker ) and the result was outstanding .
if you can find a good deal on them i suggest you get a pair .
it looks and sounds great .

Go to Madisound.com and look in their catalog at the Seas equipment. Links, pics, and specs are in there.
